Accessibility statment

Introduction

AJPES undertakes to make the website www.ajpes.si accessible in accordance to the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 30/18). This accessibility statement refers to the AJPES platform and its website www.ajpes.si.

Degree of Compliance

The AJPES website complies with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act.

Range of accessibility services

The website facilitates:

  • colour contrast selection,
  • font size selection,
  • navigating across the website using a keyboard.

AJPES strives for a smooth operation of its platform's functionality, including accessibility services in all the latest (supported) browsers. However, for the best user experience, we recommend using Google Chrome.

Inaccessible content

Accessibility is constantly monitored on the AJPES website, and individual access elements are continuously being improved. Nonetheless, some content and web applications which do not meet all the prescribed accessibility requirements, as set out in the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act, remain published.

The following content cannot be accessed due to the disproportionate burden incurred in its production:

  1. Certain documents and forms produced in Adobe PDF (for completion) or in Word format.
  2. Photographs, videos, and graphics on websites that lack descriptions or do not provide alternative texts.
  3. The website does not support the use of sign language.

In addition to a wide range of content, the AJPES website also offers access to data from public law records, using various web applications. The information services of the website are connected to various back-office AJPES systems, services of state bodies, EU bodies, and companies. Due to the number and complexity of back-end connections and frequent changes in content, the adaptation of all web applications via self-assessment would represent a disproportionate burden, especially in view of the large financial consequences that could arise for AJPES. For this purpose, we will continue to adapt as many aspects of the site as possible when planning new upgrades.

Enforcement of accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 14.3.2021 according to the method set out in the first indent of point (a) of the first paragraph of Article 3 (1) of the Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523 of 11 October 2018 - self-assessment of public sector bodies.

Feedback and contact information

Notices of cases of non-compliance with accessibility requirements, information requests regarding the content on the website, as well as information requests, in accordance with the assessment of disproportionate burden, which are not published in an accessible form, are accepted at contact.

We will respond to notifications or requests within 8 days of receipt. If we are unable to provide an appropriate response to your request within this period, we will notify you when the response will be provided, together with the reasons for its delay.

Supervision over the implementation of Articles 5 to 8 of the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act is performed by information society inspectors.

Enforcement proceedings

In the event of unsatisfactory responses to any notice or request sent in accordance with Article 8 of the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act, you may submit a report to the information society inspectors.
